During our recent family vacation at the Beresford Arms, we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of family-friendly amenities and activities available. The newly completed 'Stables Suite' was perfect for us, featuring two bedrooms and a cozy lounge area, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration. We took advantage of the estate along the Carriage Drive for guided walks. The serene hilltop lakes and vibrant wildlife were something my kids loved to explore. It's a true gem for any family that appreciates the great outdoors. The hotel's pub restaurant offered a decent selection of meals, with breakfast cooked to order. I'll keep the full Northumbrian breakfast in mind for our next visit-my children enjoyed their pancakes. The staff, particularly Josh and his team, were welcoming, making our stay feel more like visiting friends. The Beresford Arms is a solid choice for families seeking a relaxed atmosphere with an authentic touch. We look forward to returning soon.
